Outdoor thermal pool - free for our hotel guests in summer!

Europe's highest thermal spring originates in Hintertux. Drinking water quality is extremely high.

Containing mainly natrium, potassium, calcium, chlorine, sulphate and hydrogencarbonate; radioactive trace elements radium emanation (radon) and radium element are found in negligible amounts. The presence of uranium is interesting, also found enriched in Quellsintern angereichert vorkommt. Small amounts of copper, iron, aluminium, lead and zinc have also been detected using a spectrograph. It is therefore termed natrium-hydrogencarbonate-sulphate- thermal water.

This gift of nature has been used for at least 350 years. According to Univ.Prof. Dr. Georg Mutschlechner the thermal water helps minor rheumatic ailments, injury related disorders, overuse injuries, reversible aging complaints and fatigue (convalescence).

At the Finkenberg pools children can look forward to a fun playground, where during the summer months (July and August) kids swimming pool parties take place!
